The Yeoman Warders or commonly referred to as Beefeaters are the guards of the Tower of London whose designated responsibilities involve keeping an eye on any prisoners at the Tower and protecting the Crown Jewels. They also act as tour guides with the funny twist of them themselves being tourist attractions.

London Buses

The red double-decker buses in London are among the symbolic elements of the wonderful city. The origin of the color of the buses has several, some wilder than others. In 1907, the London General Omnibus Company, one of the many bus companies at the time revamped its complete fleet of buses to stand out from the competition and soon after it became the biggest bus company. Over time, other buses took up the similar system and the theme became the icon we see today.
